Online Acceleration Training Course Begins!

October is here and it’s time to start our online course “Beginning and Advanced Acceleration Topics” for the ERASMUS+ CONNECT Project. These trainings were originally intended to be held live for faculty participants in Partner countries Armenia, Georgia and Moldova, but due to the pandemic we have moved our classroom online. The content will cover basic information about entrepreneurship and startup ecosystems, initiating an acceleration program, and specific areas of interest for startup entrepreneurs such as fundraising and finance, governance, customer validation, market entry, and more. We will also discuss business models and how they have evolved, as well as applying impact metrics and social criteria to measure success. This portion of the CONNECT Project is designed to deliver Competitive Intelligence content in three areas: entrepreneurship education, creative & soft skills, and digital skills for teaching & learning. The faculty who attend these trainings will then be equipped to initiate programs at their own institutions, building on the acquired content and experience and molding it to their particular country’s context. Overall we expect to help foster a climate and structure that will bring better cooperation and communication between academia and industry, and encourage a lasting bridge between these two important sectors in each country!
