Day 3 found us on the road – and despite the rain and traffic, we made it to our first stop on time.
The University of National and World Economy has a long history of collaborating with Erasmus projects, and our meeting with their faculty and Erasmus coordinator has the potential to foster several new collaborations!
We also discussed how the university brings entrepreneurial content into several of its courses, like tourism, as well as encouraging their students to use the latest technology and entrepreneurial thinking during their internships and practical work experiences.
Continuing on, we had a tour of PUZL, one of the most successful points on Sofia’s startup map. By providing coworking space to a large number of freelancers, startups, scaleups, and venture capitalist funds, PUZL has managed to create a vibrant mini-ecosystem where technology companies of all sizes form a supportive community for growth.
Finally, our colleagues at the University of Sofia included us in their roundtable session about Faculty Entrepreneurship, where we discussed the global differences in academic participation in entrepreneurial activities.
Day 4 was a chance for partners to meet, network, and discuss their progress in the CONNECT project so far.
